Hello and Welcome!
Just a quick little intro into my world. My name is Lisa Roberts and I am the owner of Moments Kaptured Photography, a company still in its infancy and one that is continuously growing with every moment that passes. Photography is something I absolutely LOVE to do. It is my passion.
When it comes to starting a business, there can be a lot of grey area on how to get it started, what to do, how to promote, what you should include and what should not be included, methods of running your business, etc. However, there is one aspect that is not grey, the goal of Kapturing stunning Moments to treasure for a lifetime. Moments Kaptured is geared to give you a unique experience with each and every session. I want your photos to be as unique as you, your children, your relationship, your band, your world, your everything. There will never be another like you, and what better way than to showcase that through photographs?
Some would say I am just a mom of a young child with a nice camera, but that is not all I am. I am a student, studying Media & Communication Arts with a FOCUS on photography. I research, ask questions, network, jump in, get dirty, make mistakes, fix them and learn from professors and professionals IN THE FIELD. With every shoot, I learn something new and take it with me, progressively advancing my skills.
Because Moments Kaptured is still in it's infancy, and I believe in providing the best quality product for the price, my prices are set low to accommodate. So, if you are considering getting photos done, I challenge you to think about what you want to capture, experience, and display. Is a half hour session in a studio at Sears or Walmart going to cut it? Sure, they are great for photos in a pinch, but are you REALLY getting your money's worth? Do these places provide a personal contact to answer any questions, concerns, share stories with, or build a friendship with? Do they provide beautiful on-location photography or just those overused backdrops that can be found at any other studio? Before you answer this, take a look around at my work. Examples like the one below are only a fraction of what I am capable of. As my education continues, watch for that knowledge obtained to be incorporated into what I can do for you.
